The main difference is; private codes are available only for you and public codes are reachable by anyone. Published codes will be listed on our search engine, if they are matching with the searched words, and people will be able to view their source code as well.
Yes and No both. People will be able to view and change them but on clicking save, they will create a copy of it into their profile with the changes they have made and your codes won't be getting that changes unless you do so.
You can do that whenever you wish. As long as a code is published, it will be listed in search engine and people will be able to use it and take a copy of it into their profile, after changing it to private it will no longer be available unless somebody has a copy of it saved.
You can go to your profile and click the options of the code you would like to share, there you will see the dropdown menu which includes your share button there. Also you can click the share button in the text-editor. on clicking share button there will be a link appeared and that is your share link.
No, To-Do list is only for the user him/her-self to take notes and nobody is able to see their notes.
